Meet the Team:

Carissa Kapperman MS, RDN, LMNT

Owner | Registered Dietitian Nutritionist | Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist

My career as a dietitian has taken me from hospitals to bariatric clinics to long-term care,  but the most rewarding part has always been building real relationships and helping people create lasting, meaningful change.

I founded Bite for Bite Nutrition to provide clients with a realistic, personalized approach to health -  one that avoids fad diets and rigid food lists. Instead, we focus on small, doable changes that actually fit your life and lead to results you can sustain.

I love working with those managing chronic health issues, couples navigating different diagnoses together, and busy parents trying to feed their families without the overwhelm. No matter your starting point, I’ll meet you where you are and help you take the next step toward better health.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of two who loves camping, hiking, gardening, and chasing our dogs and chickens. I understand the juggle of family, work, and self-care  - and I’m here to help you find a healthy balance, one bite at a time.

Hi, I’m Christine Sullivan, a pediatric registered dietitian with over 10 years of experience supporting kids and the caregivers who love them. I have worked with hundreds of families in a hospital-based outpatient setting, helping children build a healthy relationship with food while supporting parents in feeling confident along the way.

I support families through a wide range of nutrition challenges, including weight concerns, picky eating, food allergies, growth challenges, tube feeding, and GI problems such as constipation, celiac disease, IBS, and more. I genuinely love providing practical, encouraging guidance that helps make everyday life a little easier at home.

As a mom of two young kids, I also bring real-life experience to the table. I use my professional knowledge to help my own children enjoy balanced meals and snacks from an early age, and I am passionate about helping other families do the same.

When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you’ll usually find me grabbing a cup of coffee from a local shop or searching for the latest gluten-free dessert to try.

Registered Dietitian I Pediatrics

Hi! I’m a Registered Dietitian and Culinary Specialist on a mission to make nutrition feel like a lifestyle, not a chore. I specialize in sports performance and eating disorder recovery, helping my clients fuel their goals while rebuilding a positive relationship with food. I especially love working with high-performers who are tired of burnout and home cooks looking to find their spark again.

When I’m not coaching clients, I'm usually finding my own balance of life - whether that’s exploring local trails, training for my next endurance race, or experimenting with a new sourdough starter. I believe true nourishment is a journey and that the best nutrition plans are the ones that actually let you live your life, so I’m here to help you navigate yours with confidence, one delicious meal at a time.

Registered Dietitian I Sports Performance & Eating Disorder Recovery

Hi! I’m Yana Gurevich, a sports dietitian who is incredibly passionate about helping athletes and active individuals fuel for performance and their lives. As a former NCAA Division I tennis player, I personally understand the time and dedication it takes to manage two full-time careers while still fueling properly for my sport.

My approach to sports nutrition takes into account your schedule, training regimen, food preferences/cultural foods, cooking abilities, and more so that you can improve your performance and compete at the highest level.

I love working with adolescent and collegiate athletes, professional athletes, and working adults who train recreationally but seriously from all kinds of sports backgrounds.

Outside of work and spending time with friends and family, I can be found playing tennis and pickleball, finding vegan restaurants to try, reading, and playing board games.

Jordan Fambro, RDN

Registered Dietitian

Hi there, my name is Jordan Fambro! I’m a Registered Dietitian with a background in pediatric and maternal nutrition, and a growing focus on supporting individuals navigating chronic health concerns, food sensitivities, and complex relationships with food. My experience across different populations has shaped how I approach care, by meeting each person where they’re at and recognizing that health is never one-size-fits-all. I also bring a personal understanding of how challenging it can be to navigate your health, which deeply influences the way I support my clients.

I’m especially passionate about working with those who feel like traditional approaches haven’t worked for them, whether that’s due to fatigue, digestive issues, or the pressure of trying to follow rigid plans that just aren’t sustainable. My goal is to help you find an approach that truly fits into your daily life.

My method is holistic, realistic, and centered around long-term well-being. Instead of focusing on strict rules or quick fixes, I work with you to build habits that support your energy, lifestyle, and overall relationship with food. I value creating a space where you can feel supported without judgment.

Outside of work, I’m drawn to movement, nature, and connection. Sometimes that’s yoga, dancing, hiking, or simply slowing down and enjoying everyday moments. I love creating a lifestyle that feels both grounding and joyful, and I bring that same energy to how I support my clients.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

Nutrition should make your life easier -  not more stressful. That means no all-or-nothing rules, no guilt, and no unrealistic plans you can’t stick to. We’ll focus on what matters most to you, making gradual changes that fit your lifestyle and preferences.

We know the advice you’ve gotten in the past might have been oversimplified (“just lose weight”) or overwhelming. Our job is to cut through the noise, help you understand why we’re making specific changes, and make sure those changes are practical, sustainable, and supportive of your long-term health.

Our goal is simple: help you feel better, take control of your health, and never have to start another “program” again.
